    Somebody please Help me!!!!!

    Here is the problem:

I have the original CD of soldiger of fortune (its old but i still like it).i am using the CD for playing, for a long time now (That was before i descovered D-tools) The CD is kinda worn out now........
I tried copying the game to another CD but it doesn't work......

Creating an image has saved me for the time being........but since my system crashes freequently......i wonder till when the image will last.....

So is it possible to copy the game (The original CD seems to be protected) to another CD??????

    Somebody HELP!!!!!

Just write the image to cd-r.
But IIRC SoF is not protected, so you can use the image to create a backup, too.

If its not protected why cant i just write it to another CD using the CD-copy feature in nero???

Is it possible to copy a protected CD?

Use Alcohol 120% for perfect (mostly) 1:1 Images.

              First.: RTFM
              Second: Use Google
Third: Topics with only "I need help!!!!" or similar are stupid
Fourth: If your CD is "worn out" what makes you think you
              can copy it without problems?
Fifth: Try some cd cleaning stuff on it or a other drive
Sixth: Try Alc or clone CD
Last: Sorry for b4shing but it kinda asked for it
Guys vote for the threads you read to give
the rating system a place to live ^^

I don't recommend to use CloneCD because it's heavy blacklisted by many protections and it's kinda outdated (no dpm support, only with Twinpeak). So use Alcohol 120% (mds/mdf) or Blindwrite (BWA/BWI/B5T) to creat your images. With Alcohol it's very simple.
