Tribes:Vengeance and SecuROM 5

ok, so i bought the full game from best buy...now i cant get the game to play with the cd image...none of the emulations or lack of emu is working...i made the image with alcohol 120% to mdf, with all copying options enabled...clonyxxl says its securom *new*, but i know that's bull...a-ray scanner tells me nothing about the discs, but a directory scan on c:\program files\vugames\ says it is protected by SecuROM 5.03.06.0037...i did find a crack for version 1.01 of the game...but i'd rather not run a cracked exe if i can help it...and then when there's a new patch, i gotta wait for a new crack...any ideas to get the image to work with dt?
