So far it seems that the new Splinter Cell game from ubisoft uses two types of securom.
Single player uses 7.27.004 and the current version of DT works around that just fine. However Multiplayer seems to use a different and newer version of securom, as the current methods do not work around it. Even using procyon's seculoader, I get no success. When I scanned it in ProtectionID, It came up 7.xx.
Seems an odd tactic by ubisoft to use 2 different types of securom for their program. Almost like they did it on purpose to get people interested in the single player, but then slammed a newer version of securom in our faces for the multplayer so that if we REALLY wanted to play, we would pay for the game. Which I would more than likely do, But I usually test it out on LAN first before i go out and purchase a key to play online.
Anyone have any insight as to what the new version is?
