Open the Run dialog by hitting the Windows Key + <R>
We will open the System Configuration screen by typing "msconfig" and hitting <Enter>
Click "Continue" on the Consent dialog
On the "System Configuration" dialog click on the tab "Startup"
Locate the "DAEMON Tools" startup item
Uncheck this item
Click on "OK"

We will open the Registry Editor by typing "regedit" and hitting <Enter>
Click "Continue" on the Consent dialog
Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run
Delete the REG_SZ value "DAEMON Tools
