sptd-fail to open config key??

hello. i get this fail message when i try to install deamon tools. fail to open config key -it is sptd 1.39..
what can i do to fix this?

i have had deamon tools up and running on my computer forever but this happend the other day it said about the config key, so i uninstall it and now i cant install agin..
