What do you mean? The drive or the discs? Still the same problem with rewritable discs detected as non-recordable discs? Are you sure that all emulation options are turned off, for example the "Hide CD-R" option? If you have other software installed that provides such emulations (f.ex. SlySoft's CloneCD), you should ensure that the "Hide CD-R" option is disabled there as well.
Disable all emulations, especially RMPS emulation. Emulations contain HideCD/DVD-R media function, which includes DVD-ROM for written dvd media.
Emulations are for written media only, thus should be enabled when really required only. NO emulation is required to play from image!
I have installed the new version and every CD/DVD writing application (Nero, CloneCD, ImgBurn, Daemon, DVDInfo...) can't recognize the RW disks. It seems like a CD/DVD-ROM if it is written.
