Operating System: windows2000 sp4 build 2195
Burning Software: nero6
Anti-virus Software: nav2003
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.44
The problems started when i accidently uninstalled d-tools3.44.It never completed the uninstall process.Then i tried to reinstall it again, but it keeps giving the error.I have read all relevant info regarding this and other similar error codes.
I have deleted all references to d-tools and the driver files in registry.My device manager settings are clear.I can install version 2.60 of d-tools without problem.The SAME error code is displayed when i try to install Alcohol120(trial).Pasted below is the setupapi.log:
