installed DT, rebooted, windows error "Invalid Device" (twice), which i get whenever i try to load the tools.
fresh install of DT on Win2k, not much installed: drivers (DX, nforce, nvidia, creative), symantec AV server (uninstalled to troubleshoot). updated to SP4, plus all the security updates as of 5.30.04. disabled some services, so far: alerter, auto update and background transfer, indexing, IPSEC, messenger, routing and remote access, run-as, smart cards, telnet, ups, windows time.
nothing else installed.
2 years of use of DT and this is the first-time ive ever had a problem.
