Operating System: win2K client/server

Simple question, simple application, or so we thought.....
Using the old Hasbro arcade game Centipede, client installed in c:/games/centipede. Created a script in Daemon Script, which consists of : run app, set device count = 1, mount image made by Alcohol 120, wait for executable to execute, wait for application to be terminated, unmount.
When run from desktop with the run app of Daemon Tools in there (so we ensure all machines are actually running Daemon Tools when the script is called) it seems to hang. When run without the run app DT tools, run from desktop, but seems to hang in Smartlaunch.
In SL, it's pointing to client run directory and target directory of script on server.
Not sure if this is a DT or SL problem, or both.
