hey all i couldnt find a thread about this but how does that IDE protection work?
starforce(for ex. in popt2t) makes a damaged sector on the cd which the software can detect what has that to do with IDE drives?
im not that into hardware so maybe its a dumb question :P but id like to have an answer to it anyway:P
please be detailed.. i study computers sience and im just curious how the protection system works
