BBC getinto Spanish

Have purchased BBC's getinto Spanish which comes with 3 CDs (2 PC + 1 audio). Am trying to make a backup copy of disc 2. However, when I attempt to launch the app using a copied version of the 2nd PC disc the app terminates after 30 seconds or so. Presumably, the app is checking something on the disc and is not liking what it finds. Any ideas?

Personally, I think it is a bloody cheek that after paying Ј25 I cannot make a backup copy of the thing for when my kids use it as a frisby.

I would scan the disk with A-Ray Scanner to see if any copy protection is used.

What program are you using to make a copy? I suggest Alcohol 120% or BlindWrite. Try mounting an image file of disc 2 to the DAEMON Tools virtual drive and see if you can use the program.

Thanks for your suggestions. Installed A-Ray scanner which told me that the app was protected with SecuROM 5.03.03.0002. Created an image using Alcohol 120% and mounted using Deamon. Worked a treat.
