  • trying to build a "shuttle" pc

I'm trying to figure out the name of the form factor for shuttle pc's, but I can't seem to find the name for it. Does anyone know off the top of their head?

What do you mean, the name of the form factor for the Mainboards or the name of thr form from the case ?

    Mainboard - BTX
    Case - Barebone

No, BTX is a new Intel standard that is just a reversed ATX for the most part. It's completely unrelated.

The form factor you're referring to is SFF - Small Form Factor. Though I don't know where you'd go about buying the individual parts for it. My recommendation, though it would be slightly larger, would be to go Micro-ATX and a case like the Aspire X-QPack. Takes standard-height cards (no half-height required) and will accept a standard ATX PSU (even though it comes with a slightly shorter PSU in the case).
