  • directory mounting

    Hello,

i dont know if this has been already suggestet (i searched a bit though) but i would like daemon-tools to support mounting a directory on the harddisc as a CD/DVD just like the good old DOS-command: SUBST.
If possible with emulating all the CD - Copyprotections

This would save alot of time of burning a directory into a discimage just to be able to mount it by daemon tools.

    best regards,
    B

    ...

Search for forums with the keyword SUBST. You'll find many threads on the topic.

That "good old DOS-command" still exists. Open a command prompt and type subst /? for a list of command switches.

Directory mounting and protection support won't work together - due to the same reason a simple file copy won't work, thus 1:1 copy is required.
