Instead of uninstalling you better go to device manager and check status of devices.

Only this one entry, no other errors? What is event ID and what is written above it?

Operating System: Windows XP Home SP1 with latest updates
    Burning Software: Nero 5.5.10.50
    Anti-virus Software: Norton Anti-Virus 8.07.17c
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.3.3

Since I have the same problem I think I join this discussion.
With my Daemon Tools I suddenly had this "SCSI device not detected" message. It just appeared one day and never went away from that on. I fo not remember if it happend after an update of some software or so.

The system event log reports an error:
    source: st3wolf
    event ID: 4

Description (translated from German): The driver detected an internal error in its data structures
    0000: 00000000 00580001 00000000 c0040004
    0010: 00000000 c00000c0 00000000 00000000
    0020: 00000000 00000000

I have not tested this with the latest version of Dameon Tools.
