  • Installshield Wizard Error -6006

    Operating System: Windows XP Pro
Burning Software: Roxio Easy CD Creator
    Anti-virus Software: none
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.41

Ok...I downloaded Enter The Matrix for PC in CD 1 + CD 2. I use Daemon Tools to mount the CD1.Cue. All is fine so far. Then when the autorun pops up it asks me "Do you wish to instal Enter The Matrix now? Yes No. I click yes. Heres the bad part. The Installshield engine pops up saying "Starting Installshield Wizard..." but so does this other small window ober it with the title bar "Installshield Wizard" and in the box it says with a big red and white X,
X Setup has experienced and error.

    Please do the following:
    -Close any running programs
    -Empty your temporary folder
-Check your Internet connection (Internet-based Setups)

Then try to run the setup again.
    ----------------------------------------

    Error code: -6006

This makes no sense to me . I've done all three things it told me to do and everything. Theres no other way it will let me run that setup.exe on the CD1.cue. Please. Does anyone have any idea as to what else this error message could be trying to tell me or anything suggestions what i might do to get around this. I feel that there is so a simple solutions that i am juss not seeing.

Why do people even waste their time? This user would have seen message box stating that we don't support warez!

Looked it up in the Microsoft Knowledge Base...
