SecuROM Loader doesn't work on Dark Messiah

Just wondering if anyone has gotten around the securom on this release. I tried the latest 7.26 loader and it doesn't seem to work.


Anyone have any luck getting thiers to work?

Only way I get it to work is physically unplug IDEs

It isnt. You dont need SecuRom Loader for Dark Messiah. Just mount in Daemon Tools, disable cd/dvd drives, start game and voila it works, at least for me.

Or just activate it through Steam. No more disc required.

Just use procyon loader. And don't forget to mount the image with DT.
Nothing more.

I had some trouble creating a decent image for this game. First image I made using Alcohol took about 45 minutes to create, and it only worked 1 out of 3 times.
So I used VSO's BWA Builder to make a BWA file, then used Quickmount to insert the BWA into the MDS file that I made with Alcohol. Now the game runs every time I try it, and also the SecuROM disc check is a lot shorter.

I'm only using pr0t.st0p to hide my optical drives, works great.

Atm you dont need SecuRom Loader, btw for me it works with SecuRom Loader.
