    Would be very nice if it was possible to mount images (as read only) to a temporary RAM-Drive created by Daemon-Tools.

      Use a ram disk.

      1) Copy the image on the ram disk.
      2) Mount the image with daemon tools.

      Finished.

        Correct me if I'm wrong, but what you're asking sounds like basically what the virtual drives already are.....

          You are replying to me (looking at the thread structure) but you seem to refer to the original poster, right ?

          If not, I don't undestand your question considering I'm not asking... I'm proposing a solution (the use of ram disk + the image file on it).

            You must be using threaded mode then. I've always run it in linear mode and thus make no distinction between who's post I click the fast reply on.
