It is annoying to configure the settings after a new install of windows, so it would be nice if we could export the layout settings and also the common settings, so we only have to import these and don't have to reconfigure again.

the settings are stored in the map application data right? you can copy it, reinstall and after that copy it back

You are refering to dtpro.ini. This is true i can copy this file, but say this to a user who doesn't know very much of computers
