  • Plextor - PX-130A firmware vs TAGES

    Hi you all,

here only a litte informatiom for the ones who use the PX-130A:

I used DTPA 4.10.0218.0 with SPTD v.1.50 for imaging gothic 3 (TAGES 5.5.2.1.). It takes about 100 minutes for it and the images does not work.
Then I saw that I had installed the firmware 1.01 for my drive. I flashed it to 1.03 and then DTPA worked super. The image was created in about 15 minutes and it workes correctly all the time.

    greets

PX-130A 1.01 firmware was very buggy, thus it is always recommended to update to latest available firmware.

        Lg - Gce8525b

        By the way:

Do anybody know what is the best firmware for LG - GCE8525B?
Well, I mean, I have installed v1.05 but the off. LGE support does not support this firmware anymore. I asked them directy but the said there is only a litte mistake in the downloadsection.
But really, why did they offer the v1.05 for a litte time and then - at now - only v.1.03?

No, the BenQ / Plextor drives seem to be a little picky about DPM. Unfortunately.
