Mount'n'Drive manager icon

we are thinking about a new icon of Mount'n'Drive manager and we would like to know if you like the new icon more than the old one.

Yes, please suggest your ideas what SHOULD BE pictured on such kind of icon?

If one expects the icon to illustrate what the button does, the current icons (the two proposed candidates) fail to do so IMO. However, I personally do not really have such expectation. And furthermore, the icon is only 16x16 pixels, limiting the "artistic" possibilites.

If I should nevertheless reflect on this, I feel that an icon such as the one used for the "Virtual CD/DVD ROM" button, would fit the context of "Mount'n'Drive Manager" well. However, it fits both buttons, and the current icon for "Virtual CD/DVD ROM" is quite established and should IMO not be changed. I also think that the DAEMON Tools icon itself (the main DT icon) could suffice, with the added effect of making it feel more "essential" (it is after all the left-most of these buttons).

I personally voted for the old existing icon.
