  • YASU with crysis 1.2.1

The YASU doesn't work with crysis 1.2.1. It gives me a message saying Conflict with Emulation Software Detected. Any clue?

    Thanks.

Go back to DT Lite 4.12.4 and newest yasu. It worked for me. There is another thread about mini-images not working and this has worked for them.

          I confirm hypothesis...installation procedure..

          Hi all!

After many and many procedures, I find here a solution to play Crysis using its image with last patch 1.2.1.

Before, I also say I had made an image of my Crysis's legal DVD with alcohol 52% last version in a simple LG external USB DVD writter with profil in Alcohol 52 % "SECUROM" and speed = 4X.

          A. UNINSTALLATION :

          1. I uninstalled daemon tools last version and Yasu but not alcohol 52% FE=free edition.

          2. I deleted manually (with hand) in C:\programmes files , the files which names "DAEMON Tools Lite" and "DAEMON Tools Toolbar".

          3. I cleaned Pc's register base with Ccleaner.

          4. I rebooted Pc.

          5. I uninstalled Crysis completely.

          6. I cleaned Pc's register base with Ccleaner.

          7. I rebooted Pc again.

          B. INSTALLATION :

          1. I connect my USB external DVD writter.

          2. I put in it Crysis's DVD and install crysis with it. (With the real disk of course!) .

          3. I disconnect my USB external DVD writter.

          4. I reboot Pc.

          5. I install Crysis's patches 1.2 first, then 1.2.1 .WARNING! DO NOT INSTALL before the 1.1 patch .

          6. I reboot PC again.

          7. After I install Daemon tools Lite VERSION 4.12.4 (not the last version of daemon tools) and its toolbar but I do not install Yasu. I choose by security only one virtual drive (for example here its name is J: )

          8. I mount Crysis's image in J:

          9. After few seconds ( be patient cause you shall see a little disk running)...then Crysis runs fine.

          10. I create my profil and also to play on multiplayer on the net. No problem!

          11. I can play in singleplayer mod and in multiplayer mod on the net (I choose servers no protected by Punkbuster, cause Punkbuster last version can create problems).

          C. ProtectionId's analysis report is here. I scanned the cryteK's folder (full analysis, included folders and subfolders). You can see that :

          D. HYPOTHESIS.

          1. Alcohol 52% FE is not blacklisted by securom Version 07.36.0007, cause Alcohol was installed before I install crysis and its patches.

          2. I think when you install Crysis's patches 1.2 and 1.2.1 the system protection searches if daemon tools or Yasu...or curerom... (no exclusive OR) are installed . If yes we get " emulator detected" message.

          3. But the system protection cannot detect Daemon tools if you install it after installing Crysis's patches!

          Very curious is not it?

Best regard and cordially and sorry for my special English cause it's not my first language.

            Hello

I have the same problem : the latest version of DAEMON Tools Lite (v 4.30.1) doesn't work with crysis 1.2.1 patch, using a functional image.
It gives me a message saying Conflict with Emulation Software Detected.

But if I use the version 4.12.3 of DAEMON Tools Lite, my image (the same) works perfectly.

For accuracy, in both cases I do not Yasu.

Would you have a solution to this prolbème?

            Thank you
