  • CD copying quality

    Hello !

I am fairly new to DAEMON tools-I must say that I love it!

    A quick rooky question:

How well does Daemon Tools copy CDs compared too BlindWrite? I know that BlindWrite does a nearly perfect, bit by bit copy (such as making OS disks bootable as where most disk copying apps fail here). Does Daemon Tools do as good of a job or better than BlindWrite?

    Thank you!

I think it's kinda hard to get an objective opinion here as this is the home of Daemon Tools.

As for the quality of cd/dvd copies there is nothing that beats DT Pro Adv (imho).

Can DT Pro version 4.30.0303 burn copy protected image files, that have been created with DT Pro.

For instance could I burn a backup image of Sid Meiers Civilization IV - Colonization (securom protection) with DT Pro.

Sure it can burn them, they just won't work for starting the game.

          Burning RMPS isn't implemented yet.

Twin Peak is an old method which isn't working evertime.
