  • DT4.301 and Vista 64

After installing DT in my Vista 64 Ultimate, I get the following error after rebooting.

Initialization error 0. This program requires at least Windows 2000 with SPTD or higher. Kernal debugger must be deactivated
I have tried uninstalling DT and manually installing SPTD 1.56 again. But now I get a new error that says this:

Internal setup error. Error code: 14. Contact Support.
I tried cleaning the registry of all DT related and it hasn't helped.

I really need some help here

You disabled your security software (e. g. kaspersky, windows defender ...)?
Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot

I replied to your post in another thread I started on this thing. I missed the info concerning my thread being visible AFTER being approved by a moderator, so I posted a 2nd thread.

      Apologies for that.

I managed to reinstall the software by disabling my Spyware Doctor.

Vista is blocking Daemon when windows is started, so I have to manually launch it everytime. That I can live with though.

      As long as it works
