  • Image format that supports splitting/compression/checksum

hey there. I got a question, is there any format supported by daemon tools which allows to split a image? I'd like to split a dvd9 image to 2 dvd5, of course I could use a common spliting or archiving tool, but doing so I'd always need to decompress/join to use the image....

another question: is there any image format supporting compression and/or using checksums to verify integrity? regards

MDS allows to be splitted, but the split parts has to be in the same folder.

Among others the Data Disc profile of Daemon Tools Pro doesn't create RAW MDS CD images.
For DVDs only Tages protected images get a little bigger due to the functionality of that protection.
Apart from that MDF=ISO is true for DVDs.
