  • Creating image: DT fails, PowerISO succeeds

I tried to make an image of a CD (Age of Empires 2, 1 session, 2 tracks):
When progress bar shows 33% of track 1, DT reports "disc imaging failed"; (it looks DT doesn't create any log, and so i cannot provide any detail).
PowerISO finished the image without problem.

(configuration: Windows XP Pro SP2, DT Lite 4.30.4.0027)

DT is failing due to read error which is common for SafeDisc.
PowerISO is successing as it doesn't read protectin data.
Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot

I suppose the information about the SafeDisc conflict is stored somewhere in the log (which i didn't find so far).
But why DT doesn't inform what is happening publicly? I mean:
why DT doesn't inform me there is a conflict with SafeDisc, and doesn't offer that imaging can still continue, but the SafeDisc protection won't be copied?

I think DT Pro has a "skip error/bad sector option" for its safedisc profile like Alcohol has.
So, mother goose has been messin' around in your egg salad, huh kid?
