  • Unable to disable virtual devices - crash

For the last few years I have been using Daemon Tools 3.47 which worked fine except that after a few days of uptime and a few mounts, it demanded a reboot when I wanted to disable a virtual device (I always disable it after I'm done using it). I uninstalled DT3.47 (also manually removed the drivers) and installed DTools 4.30.4 lite. However, this version crashes every time I am done using a virtual device and want to disable it. It brings up the "Updating virtual devices" message which never disappears. The drive icon/letter does seem to go away but the popup message stays and DTools hangs. I have no idea why or if there is something on my PC which is interfering. Any ideas ?
