Will Daemon Tools work for this?

I have an original ISO for Windows 7 from Microsoft (MSDN Academic Alliance) and I was wondering if this is possible:

- Mount the ISO
- Restart and boot from mounted ISO
- Install Windows 7 on a separate partition using mounted ISO

It will not work this way as it is a software and therefore can't be booted from.

But you can mount it and install then.

There is only one way. mount DVD and run installer, don't reboot PC. After installation delete Old.Windows folder
