    i'm interested to know if anyone has created an image of blazblue: calamity trigger.

    i tried images using the data disc, safedisc and securom profiles, using different drives/speeds.

        Iirc Themida is a reversing protection only.

        Have you possibly also tried other apps capable of skipping defective sectors to pinpoint if it's only DAEMON Tools having problems with that disc ?
        I'm not employed by Disc Soft and my views do not necessarily reflect the ones of the company.

          i know, but i still posted the two exe "finds" just so blaz could see what was found. best i can tell, it uses no major c/p technology on the disc.

          yes, alcohol. same thing.

            the 1st box is shown if there is NO disc inserted.

            the 2nd box is shown after checking a "bad" image.

            someone should be clued what protection may be on the disc by the 2100/1503 codes.

                ok, i just want mention that a successful image can be created, using alcohol when, for example, i select the skip reading errors option. the problem is that, the image does not bypass the disc check. i say this because my initial post might have been interpreted as no image could be completed. it is true that using most pre-made profiles it does fail to actually create the image, but it is possible to finish making an image.

                anyway, the game creates a small log. the code02 is written on the disc around the lead in area, the same place where starfoce places it's serial number.

                this log shows when no disc/image is inserted:
                [OS_VERSION]
                Os=Professional (Build 7600)

                [DRIVE_NAME]
                DriveCount=3
                0=Sony DRU-900

                Code04=1
                this log shows when image is inserted, and fails the check:

                    Fritz, I do have the game ordered and have to send it to the devs soon due to non-supported protection.

                    EDIT:
                    Proper image creation settings can be found in this thread: http://forum.daemon-tools.cc/f18/can...trigger-31902/
