Default Where is phisically the drive?

I've got several hard disks. I supose Daemons takes some space from C: but
    1. can I tell Daemon to create it on any other hard disk?
    2. If I've got an ISO file on drive F: and I tell Daemon to mount it on the Drive created by Daemon, will it copy it or it only makes a link? I mean will I have it phisically in 2 places or just in 1?

It only mounts the image, not copy it.
