  • Force drive letter???

    Operating System: Windows XP pro
    Burning Software: Nero 5.5
    Anti-virus Software: Symantec 8
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46

Are there any command line switches / registry hacks that I can use to force Daemon tools to give me a virutal drive on a specific drive letter?

I want my virtual drive letter to be V: (for virtual). I can change it via "set device parameters", but after a reboot it reverts to the next drive letter, in this case e:

I really need to force it to a specific drive letter every time - any ideas how I can do this?

Strange - the drive letter assignment should be permanent, i.e. if you set it to v: it should be v: after reboot.
