is there a way to create a blank CD image so i can burn songs onto a virtual drive and just take the songs from there? (like burning ipod songs onto a vdrive and then using thoes songs to play) it would be quicker than using a CD-RW everytime

No - there's no way to write to a read-only (ROM) device :!:
