  • Hello!

I am experiencing troubles by the installation of Daemon-Tools 3.29.

I have Windows XP SP1 and the installation aborts at the end with rollback.
Or Windows XP wants to have a "SCSI Controller driver"

I do not know, why this is that way.. I mean I was using the programm daily and now I can not even use it.

PS: I have the ASPI driver version 4.71
The ASPI 4.6 is too buggy to use it and I tried, even with 4.6 the
    same bug is here.

    Something else:

I do not own "easy cd creator"

And I've got Clone CD the newest version and Ahead Nero Burning Rom the newest version.

Let's hope to get the solution.

What is the error number you get?? ### does not tell me anything.
Go to device manager and delete all unknown devices if any, then reboot and try setup again.
Do you get the error immediately OR after some time?

Well, I've deleted 2 unknown devices and after restart try to install DAEMON-TOOLS. But the same problem came.

"Error 25001 Device Setup Error:25021 Contact your support personell.

I worked with DAEMON-TOOLS without problems. Only since updating to version 3.26 (and now 3.29)
none of your versions can be installed.

And I have written, the Error message comes at the end of the installation and the rollback. (removes all already installed stuff)
