  • Write Support: May be this will change your mind? I hope :)

I know it has been posted several times and in the FAQ as well.
But my laptop's (SONY VAIO) CD burner does not work no more. I have a recovery program that creates DVD discs and I have no way to create those disks. DVD drive reads but no write. If I can fool the recovery program, then I can create an image and take it to another machine to burn it. What do you think? Say that you will think about it. Thanks..

Use Nero and write to "Image recorder" device .

I cannot use Nero because the laptop comes with its own writing program that creates the recovery disk. It writes directly to the DVD drive. All I want is a drive emulator which can act as a DVD-RW drive that is able to write to an ISO image or so.
