  • mounting cue sheets

Operating System: windows xp home sp2
    Burning Software: pinnacle
    Anti-virus Software: McAfee
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

When i try to mount cue sheets windows says "unable to mount image. cue sheet: line 1. file not accessable."
Am i doing something wrong or would it be better if i changed the file to an iso instead of a bin and cue?
If so how can i change to iso?
I hope you can help. Its driving me crazy!

Neither ISO nor cue/bin are good for creating images of copy protected CDs.
Please create new images of your discs with an appropriate software (such as Alcohol 120%) using the appropriate profile for the copy protection used on the disc.
    "I was inappropriately blunt, wasn't I? Sorry, I do that a lot."

If the CD you are trying to mount is not copy protected, bin/cue is fine.
Some (legally I hope) downloaded Images have wrong names, because the distributers of the Images changed the names. In this case edit the .cue file with the windows editor. It should read somewhat like this:
      Code:
      FILE "BLA.BIN" BINARY
        TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
          INDEX 01 00:00:00
Just edit the BLA to the apropriate file name and save the file. Alternatively you could also rename the .bin file to match the name above (BLA.bin in this case)

      Sorry for bad English
