  • How to run SF3-protected Alcohol/BlindWrite images under Windows 2000?

Even after physically unplugging my cdroms, nothing works.

I tried with SFCure and SFNightmare, no good.
I don't think SFNightmare works for me (doesn't work under win2k?)

I have seen references to "disable node", how can I perform this manually via registry/device manager?

Please post detailed instruction to getting mounted images working with SF3 under WIN2K. (if possible, plz give instructions as to how to manually perform, rather than using some application -- or at least a way to verify that the applicaiton is actually doing something)

    Thanks in advance!

I also tried with it, either it does not work either, or it is insufficient, or I'm not doing something else right.

How can I tell whether a node is disabled? (what's a "node" btw?)

Can someone please provide detailed step-by-step instructions for win2k, TIA.
