I think this is a little bit senseless, don't you think? You can emulate an internal drive, why an USB 2.0 port?

      BACK TO TOPIC:
I think, there isn't any software to emulate USB 2.0.

Why a emulated USB interface?, I imagine what you want it for play games with StarForce. But in all ways is a stupid idea, Starforce block the copy from the USB in the version 3.7(patching two file systems if I remember well).

Exactly this. I read this in other site, the files are:

            "usbport.sys" and "usbd.sys"

This is the first time I've heard this, could you give a web reference, if possible.

                  starforce 3.7.xx usb patching

                  Thanks for the link Dochilt.

This sounds crazy. Patching files means the Microsoft digital signature will become invalid. How will the system file checker react? Will your starforce 3.7.xx games fail to load if WFP restores the files?

Probably this files not work with WFP(the reason probably is for "file driver" and not "system file", the files are located in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS). Now i tried to overwrite this two files with other files and no have noticed any advice.

And I don't know if this is true or not sorry I only read this in the webpage and no have a game with SF 3.7 for test .

                      ...

I wasn't asking just you. You definitely don't have to be responsible for answering the questions about it just because you posted the link. I guess we're all in the dark with details about this.

You can overwrite them.. just do so in safe mode, ive done something similar.. but for entirely different reasons.. i patched the bluetooth stack and removed the security stack so i could use any device.. a little off topic.. but just proves you can patch .sys files successfuly

You can patch .sys files in normal mode, I did it to open the number of half-open connections. Windows File Protection pops up, but you can ignore it.

Are you trying to control an LED flashlight?
