  • change a file inside a MDF file

    yo dudes
    i backup my Vampire bloodlines
    now i got it in a MDF file but here comes the trick i need to do
    i need to replace the Msi file for a other Msi file to make the game compactable with my current OS sinds if i Mount the cd and copy it to my drive it system get totaly blue and crash
    any tricks i can pull to replace the MSI ????

    You won't be able to replace the .msi file without breaking the copy protection that it uses.
    Perhaps someone here can help getting the game running on you OS.

      In most cases software doesn't check for a correct CD during installation process, so, you can use 2 backup copies, one standard ISO for instalation (you can edit it with number of software, foe example with ultraiso) and second - unmodified mds/mdf pair for for playing with it.

        The simplest solution for Vampire would be:

        Extract all the CDs in one Directory, replace the MSI and then install it with setup.exe . For me it worked perfectly
