  • Problem with DT v4.0.3

when i'm trying to run daemon tools i get an eror message:
    "Virtual SCSI driver not detected."
next time i get other message:
    "Initialization error
The program requires at least Windows 2000 with SPTD 1.24 or higher.
    Kernel Debugger must be deactivated."
same error was with DT v4.00, my instalation run fine without any problem could this be because of microsoft visual studio? i'm new here, so forgive me if i've done something wrong

I have: Windows XP Pro with SP2, Nero 7.0.1.4, UltraISO and i never used easy cd creator.
    v3.47 runs without any problem

It can't have anything to do with Visual Studio. Me myself have VS .NET 2003 and VS 2005. Works without any probs.

You have either non-standard operation system files or your OS is affected in some way by anti-virus or other software.
Please give more details about your OS version and software installed. Visual Studio is surely not the cause.

I had that once kept giving me that error each time found out it was the Secdrv.sys (which is Macrovision's driver hidden in device drivers under non plug and play drivers named Security Driver) after i disabled it and stopped it running it then installed for me but then again it may not be that on your system preventing it from installing.

I once had that problem, For me it was the Macrovision driver Secdrv.sys which was running in device manager, (show hidden devices) Non-Plug and Play Drivers, Security Driver it was listed as. I went into the properties of it and then disabled it and then never had any issues installing it after. but it may not be that but worth noting
