damn underheaven, were you beat up in high school?

anyhow, the reason why I wanted to start this new thread is
      A) Most of the people that are experiencing bugs do NOT post it in the bug forum. (as you can see out of the millions that download, I think you can honestly say not even a fraction of those people posted anything even though they were putting up with those annoying bugs

      B) I was curious about daemon tools broad spectrum of compatibilty

      C) It's paying homage to the great work everyone has done with 4.03.

while 4.01 worked perfectly with x64... the x64 4.03 fails to allow me to run matlab R14 student edition... going back to 4.01 fixed this problem... same image... same computer... same everything.

problem with Matlab R14 Student Edition

I used Alcohol 120% v1.9.5 to build an image of my install disk.

                        The protection is Safedisk 2/3.

                        I am using Daemon v4.03HE for x86.

The 1st time I ran Matlab it worked. Since then it always asks me for the disk.

I saw the post that 4.01 worked, but can't find 4.01.
Where can I find the older revision? It isn't in the archive for some reason.

ALso, does anyone have a suggestion why 4.03 doesn't work for this program? I have tried many combinations of the options to no avail.
