Computer Locks at end of movie

When I play a DVD using daemon, at the end of the disc, my CPU goes to 100% and my machine locks anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. The mouse moves very choppy, and I can't get my player to stop. I am using VideoLan as the player and my machine is a 1.1 Gig Duron with 512MB ram running Win2k. I thought it might be the player, but it locks when trying to start Media Player as well. Any thoughts?

ANyone? I tried to unistall DT and re-instal, but the same thing happens. I found that if I mount the image, and try to copy anything from the drive to another "real" drive, it locks up just before the last little bit copies.

In this case you should consider a damaged image. Try to re-create it.

It is with any image. Any DVD image that I run through Deamon Tools (no matter who created it) locks up at the last bit when using VideoLan, and won't play at all when I use Media Player. It happens on both of my machines.

What kind of images? Which program used to create?
Did you try another software player, e.g. WinDVD?

Not sure what was used to create them. They are "shared" DVD images, if you know what I mean. I have not tried WinDVD, but I'll give it a shot
