why is it so important to change the icon?

I was able to play the game with Reefs instructions but after playing once, I was not able to play it again. Anyone else having this problem? If so how did you render it? tia

changing icon is not so important. you can play without do that.
if you follow reef's instructions you can play. but simple way is as I stated above.

did it 10 times with no luck ^^; still get "Original disk cannot be found or authenticated"

Does it matter what file type the image is? I used Alcohol 120 and made a mds format image..

any other suggustions would be appreciated _(_ _)_

Does your image contain DPM data? Without DPM it will not work.

What speed did you use to read your dpm?
If you did it with max then i would recreate the image with reading the DPM with a slow speed like 1x,2x,4x. Then it should work all the time.

Alright, thanks for the input, i'll try re-creating my image file and tell ya how it goes

Very very late responds to it.

Did all the steps above except one that was i made image with a speed of maximum (mine can handle up to 24x) .
We will see if that is the problem.
