  • Can I copy a mounted image file?

I originally asked this in the general support part of the forum maybe this is the right place

sorry if this is a dumb question!

I have 10 bin files of CDs I want to put onto 2 DVDs.
I mount the bin file using Daemon and can play the file locally.

But I can't copy or save this file onto the hard drive.

I get error 'cannot copy (filename) the parameter is incorrect' from windows explorer and if I open the file in media player (it's an MPG) and then try to save it the same problem occurs.

I normally use isobuster to do this but it failed to open up these bin/cue files.

    thanks in advance...

    Sry,
but sounds like your images aren't correct.

Try to mount them via daemon tools , again.
Probably you should create more virtual drives that make it easier...
to copy these files on a dvd.
    -just mount all images
-copy these files on your dvd using nero or whatever

If that fails , you can certainly delete your images

But I have to mention that your post is in the wrong forum

      Thanks Misukin

one problem with this (good idea though) is that Nero can't cache the files.

      enuff whining!
I have downloaded WINISO and this fails to extract the files as well.
so I either delete them or burn them and how I feel tomorrow will make that decision

hehe I never have problems doing this normally. I feel like a newbie again!
