Problem with severance!

Hi there!
I'm Mike and i have a problem with Severance: blade of darkness: I have a perfect 1:1 raw image mounted with DAEMON and also
installed from this image but the program still requests "wrong disk"! it also checks in all the drives and when arrives at the phantom, says "wrong disk"!
Somebody can help me?
I've performed all of the listed operations for the securom new burning with alcohol 120%, i tried too with the preset of securom new 4.x/5.x, but it doesn't work...
What can i do?

Severance is protected with OLD Securom *New*

You must read the Subchannel-Data, too

Which program was used to create the image and which settings?

hi,
to create the image file, i used alcohol 120 % 1.9.2.1705 with preset settings for securom "NEW"...
i also tried with securom "new" 4.X/5.X settings, but it still doesn't work!
subchannel data reading is ON in these two settings, but it was unuseful!

JBTW: don't know what version you got. you did do a protection check?

the protection is securom "NEW" v. 4.32.00.0002...
It 's the same of Neverwinter Nights...maybe...

Works fine for me from image even with installation from cd.
Try to re-create the image from original cd with lower read speed.

What? Standard procedure:
Installed from cd, created image with Alcohol, ejected cd, mounted image, started game -> works.

i have more details for you:

I installed severance from a backup disk, with a fixed exe...that works only with win 98, now i'd like to play with win xp! I tried, but i failed...
So, my source disk is a backup disk, is this a problem? Should i have the original cd? I lost it... :oops:

cd/dvd reader LITE-ON DVD SOHD-167T
