Whichever one works best for you, I suppose. I prefer MDS, personally. There's also an update coming soon to enhance the DPM precision of Alcohol.

I do have one word of advice about your post, though. You should probably consider shrinking the image down to a smaller size. I run 1280x1024 on my desktop, and it's big enough to use as a wallpaper.

Probably with your DVD and your DVD reader Alcohol Mds doesn't contain good DPM data.

To extract DVD dpm data you shall set DVD extraction velocity to the maximum, did you set that ?
