Can not create mds

Hello,

i have a problem with alcohol 120%.

I want to make an Image with it but when it starts he show me that it can not make the mds with my drive.

I have a Benq LS DW 1655 and a normal Benq drive.

With the DW 1655 it must be possible to make a good dpm, or not?

Do you have a Starforce driver on your system ?

Yes Starforce was on my computer so I have used the sfremover.

With the bwabuilder for Blindwrite it dosenґt work, too.

I had the same problems with Alcohol and MDS. I downloaded the newest version and then it works.

I think that I have the newest version "Alcohol120% 1.9.6.5429"
(itґs the trial version) but it canґt make the mds. After uninstalling and installing it doesnґt work,too.

I hope that the Benq Ls DW 1655 and my other normal Benq drive supports to make a mds file, or not?

DPM and MDS aren't the same *.MDS is the data in which the DPM information is stored.

My Plextor can not create mds...

A guy from the Alcohol support said Plextor drives are lousy to extract a DPM

Probably a firmware update will help you dudes!
