How to get civ III complete working

Hi All,

I am trying to get civilization III complete edition working. I have created an image with BW6 and mount it with dtools 4.09HE.
No matter what I try I get an error "Original CD not found or authenticated" or "Insert play disk into drive". I have searched these forums for a solution but I can't find anything that works including CureROM, SecureROM loader, setting registry permissions etc.

Can anyone help please?

what protection does the game have?? (you can see it with protection id)
did you try yasu??
what settings did you use creating the image??

Hopefully this is still relevant, Civ 3Complete uses Safedisc 3.20.022

Try making an image with the latest Alcohol 120%, and tick 'Skip read errors'. When making the image, use a slow drive/reading speed.

After that, mount the image using Daemon Tools 4 (latest is best) and the use of Y.A.S.U before you run the game may be necessary.
