Anyone got any ideas? It would be pretty cool to get a Tages emulation with DAEMON Tools, if it is possible (but from what I have read, it doesn't seem to be).

I don't have DT Pro, only Lite as I am a cheapskate, is there no way to do it with any other version?

The other problem is the fact that the Tages protection is updated with the latest patch of the game, so I don't think that it is possible to have the latest version of The Settlers VI without using the legitemate CD or DVD. Or am I wrong?

My mate has DAEMON Tools Pro and I have just tested my Settlers VI image on his PC (that's the joy of living just down the road from him ), but it didn't work. We tried a vIDE drive and it worked fine with the "no-cd patch" from GameBurnWorld (it works with a SCSI drive on DAEMON Tools Lite with the no-cd patch too). We then removed the no-cd patch and updated Settlers to version 1.3 of and then it just kept saying "please insert original DVD". Any ideas?

how did you create your image? did you use dt pro 4.12.0220?

oh wait - you don't have dt pro.. hmm.

Maybe I should try and make a 1:1 image of my Settlers disk with DT Pro 4.12.0220 then. Doesn't seem to be any other way to do it. I'm deffinately going to have to buy DT Pro .

Hi,
Tried two things.
Installed game and 1.3 patch using ide-virtual drive using
DT 4.12.0220.
1. Started game using mounted ide-virtual drive with DT
4.12.0220. Got message "Place original DVD"
2. Started game with 1-1 dvd-copy of ide virtual-drive.
Same message.
So nothing about activation but still the game does not start.
Has anybody other ideas?
