Hi there,

I have run Protection ID on a PC DVD Rom Dual Layer

The result i get on 2 .exe files are as follows:

I have not come across such protection, i dont know how to remove it. Is it possible if there can be help on this. I just want to copy the whole disc and run it on virtual so that i dont have to use the CD and put it away somewhere. Thanks

SFX is NOT a protection, it stands for 'self extracting'...

so you don't need to remove anything....

tells you its just an installer (some installers contain executables inside them that may be protected...).. the next version of pid allows you to choose what things are scanned for, which might help you...
