I think you mean SafeDisc 3.15, because from that version on they introduced a new kind of bad sector (which most writers can't burn).
I have Fifa 2004 which has SD 3.10 on it and could easily make a backup with Alcohol.
BTW: Who are you? 8) You seem to know a lot of technical details about protections :P
