OK! after some messing around i found out that all i need to change to get my rollercoaster tycoon 3 (securerom5) game to play using daemontools and a blindwrite image is ->>>
goto "RUN" and type "regedit"
browse to the "folder" ->> "hkey_local_machine/hardware/devicemap/scsi/scsi port 2" (((notice this port could be different i hear but most is port 2)(the port of daemontools from what i understand)))
right click that folder and set "permissions" under the admin/alluser section to "deny" the (read) option. once you get there you should understand better what i mean. i did. youll see all those options.
i also made a backup of my daemon.dll (located in windows dir) and renamed it daemon.bak. now that was while i was trying to figure stuff out so it worked now so im leaving it but it may not have anything to do with it working lol. ALSO in dtools emulation setting ALL are OFF. im not using any emulation for encryption in Daemontools options.
ok there ya go. my rct3 works now without the disk and just using the image.
MY PROBLEM. You have to "REGEDIT" that file to "deny" everytime you reboot cuz it goes away.
MY QUESTION. can someone give me detailed simple to follow instructions to make a txt file that will do that automatically at each reboot. im looking for something simple. otherwise its not a major deal to do it each time i want to play the game cause when you goto "regedit" again it will already be on the last file you edited. simple. THANKS IN ADVANCE for any info on the regedit auto file thingymajiggy to be technical on it.
